Hayley's debut album has broken records
A 16-year-old New Zealander has shot to the top of the UK's classical music chart with the fastest-selling debut album in its history.

Pure by Hayley Westenra sold a record-breaking 19,068 copies last week, taking it to the top of the classical chart and to number eight in the pop album chart.

It beat the previous record of 18,500, which was held by another teenage singing star - Charlotte Church.

Hayley was discovered when she was an 11-year-old busker.

She's since landed a £3 million record deal.

"This is amazing, unbelieveable," said a stunned Hayley, who now lives in London.
