Weekdays at 5.30pm Headliners features the latest in entertainment news, from New Zealand and around the world. Headliners is presented by Renee Wright and Jason Reeves - two fresh new faces, with incredible enthusiasm for their roles. "It's just so exciting. I've always loved showbiz and Headliners has all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood as well as in-depth reports on our own stars right here in New Zealand," says Wright. Jason Reeves is well known to radio listeners as one of The Edge's Award-winning morning crew, and funnily enough, he's not unknown to his co-presenter. "When I was 14, I rang a radio station and Jason had just started there," says Wright. "He actually said to me, "You've got a great voice and you should come and work with me" Lo and behold, several years later, here I am!" she laughs. Headliners will cover everything from J-Lo to Hayley Westenra and of particular focus for the show will be the New Zealand music and arts scene. Headliners also has a team of experienced reporters, including Mary Durham and Ruwani Perera, who will cover everything from art exhibitions to movie premieres.
