"Celtic Woman: A New Journey" will be one of the programming highlights of Redding public television station KIXE Channel 9's December membership event.

Recorded at the historic Slane Castle, the program features original Celtic Woman members joined by a sixth Celtic woman, international recording star Hayley Westenra, for a concert of classics, contemporary hits and original songs. The show debuts at 8 p.m. Dec. 2.

Last year's December membership event raised more than $52,000 in pledges from 478 KIXE members.
